Falling Stars

Decorative Star Strands

This craft would be a nice decoration for Ramadan or Eid but could also be a wonderful decoration for a child's room.

Materials

• sewing machine
• paper 
• star Pattern (your pattern could be anything; moon phases, flowers, butterflies, etc.)
• scissors
• curtain rod or dowel

Directions

• Use the pattern to cut your shapes and then cut lots and lots.
• Use the sewing machine and sew strands of stars to the desired length
• Tie the stands on the rod to form a curtain of stars

Just curious if there is any way to secure the stars without using a sewing machine. I don't have one but LOVE this idea!
