Sweet Crepes
Habeeba makes these daily for Iftar. Once cooked they are rolled and transferred to a platter. The crepes can be dipped in soup, served with cream fresh or eaten plain.
This recipe is enough for 10 people, if your making for a smaller number just cut the recipe accordingly.
Ingredients
- 5 cups milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 1/8th cups flour
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- pinch of salt
Directions
- Mix all of the ingredients in the blender
- In a hot pan add a pad of butter
- Ladle batter into the pan, use the bottom of the ladle to spread out
- Cook about 30 seconds on each side, the top will appear dry
- Cook a few seconds on the other side or until done
- Roll up and eat
